Vala Faye

Vala Faye is the pen name I use on the web while surfing and writing about the subjects I find of interest. You can find me on my personal blog or on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook and Myspace .

My particular focus is on cats these days, as I've found that many owners and wanna-be owners out there often don't know what having a cat entails nor realize how this furry feline will affect their lives, both in good and bad ways.

I myself had been living with cats for 20 years without realizing what made them tick. When I started having several indoor cats however, the behavioral issues that rose were taxing, to say the least. And so, as I felt the shelter was not an option, I did some research and found the answer I was looking for.

I discovered what made my kitties tick and learned to appreciate those cute critters that had been my steady companion all my life even more. I understood why the behavioral issues arose and became fascinated by their internal make-up.

This led me to eventually follow a professional course on Cat Behavioral Therapy.

It is my goal to get the knowledge I've learned out there in a bite-sized format, in an attempt to increase the understanding between our feline friends and ourselves. Hopefully this will contribute in diminishing the amount of unhappy owners and cats out there, which often results in a one way ticket to the shelter for the already stressed-out kitty.
